I've often mentioned the squirrels that I feed, but I'm not sure if I've ever talked about the cardinals. There is a pair of cardinals, Louie and Louise, that have been coming around regularly for the peanuts.
Louie will often swoop in, grab a peanut, break it up with his beak, and then give the pieces to Louise. He's an ideal husband, I guess.

That is one spectacular shot! Usually when Zush and I are on the trail, I would either call out for Stan the Man...the only cardinal I ever liked!( Don't get me started on Scott Rolen)
